I think that one of the most important thing between friends is that you guys have mutual understandings among you. If your friends don't like the idea that you treat them differently with the valid reason you should explain them what your thought is see how they think about them. Themight not like it or they might understand you. And, you can figure out what you can do about them. I guess what i am trying to tell you is that you should communicate to each other honestly about your relationship. Being honest doesn't look good all the time, but it makes things a lot easier for the future. And, if you feel that you cannot open your heart to them, forget the friendship.
