BMW has earned her fame not by free trade but by "Patriotism". After defeating in WW2, Germany was so devastated that they couldn't even start again and thier product was never attractive. BMW was not different. Their technology was excelent but they could not make U-2s anymore, so they had to make cars. But earlier BMW is not as famous as what they are now. Thier local resident purchased BMW in spite of poor quality. In return for that, BMW has grown rapidly day by day. This is Today's success story of BMW. I saw many Korean guys(most of them are young chics) who favors Japanese cars with blind sense of decision. Some of them know what's good and what is not and think about Japan in historical meaning. The problem,however, is the guys who do not even think about it. I don't know what is difference between them and traitors in our recent history. Some might excuse themselves by saying that world is changing. Free trading is overwheming the earth. Then, are they naive enough to give thier profits to others(maybe enemies) with hearts? P.S. I would rather go US or European car dealers before going to Honda. Japanese car's price is too raised. If you think value/price, Japanese cars do not have merit enough.: |
