I absolutely agree with you. If we keep the law correctly, there could be less corruption. But how can we make the power to keep law? There are three ways to make the power fair. You wanted Mr H.C. Lee to be the next president. I believe that he could be a great leader, considering his career. Your solution is that a great leader or hero can solve our problem. That is a kind of revolution from the top. In this case we are just waiting doing nothing except voting for him. But it could be very dangerous and unexpectable to depend on only one person. Don't forget that DJ and YS were almost heroes and sacred in 1970's. They were more popular at that time than HC now. We have waited a great hero too long. There is another approach. That is the revolution from the bottom like -MORE- <q>uit <space>next <b>ack <h>elp (50%)the French Revolution. But I like the last one best. If we have a healthy middle class, I believe that Korea would be better for the have-not. This is the Revolution From the Middle. It is more active and practical. No country has attempted this. No blood expected ! Because we criticise ourselves. It will be the safest but the most difficult revolution. We should do every possible attempt to make the have work for the poor. Supporting a few good leader, and criticizing ourselves at the same time. I don't want to distinguish which approach is better. But we have talked of the former enough, so I just want to introduce a new one. Even professors in Korean universities are severely devided by the alumni associations, which is well known. Can a great leader solve it? Thank you very much indeed!! PS. I don't think that it is illegal for,say, YS to use only his men. We can not accuse him because of that. Only if they do some corruption, we can accuse them. |
