It would be a great waste of time to mention again, because you talked too much on this politics board. But I feel that you are repeating the same arguments as your seniors did 10 years ago. I wonder you may repeat it for the next 10 years. Everything changes and should change. You are so endurable that you never get tired. I'm surprised how you repeat exactly. I'm surprised at the ability of your seniors. It is natural that you talk of policy, and politicians. You can criticize policy, and politicians as well. You can say, " I don't like this policy, I prefer that one", " I don't like one politician, but he is a little better than others. So I support him for the future of Korea." You talked about regionalism last time. What was the conclusion? You exactly repeated as your seniors did 10 years ago. It doesn't matter. But what should we do to remove it? Do you believe that Korea will be one of the strongest countries with that kind of old-fashioned thoughts? Will Korea be stronger than Japan without dramatic change of thought ? What makes a country strong ? A great leader, hero? I dare say that it totally depends on the attitude of the have. We cannot expect a HERO, if the have try to keep their privilege. When King Sejong decided to make HANGUL for the have-not, who objected? Who did General Lee Soon-sin put in prison ? Who killed Kim-Gu ? That is the have who wanted to keep their own profit. If there is a really great leader, she or he may overcome every hurdle. But I think it is wiser to change the thought of the have than to wait a superman. Who is the have? The rich, the power, and the learned. I believe that the more we have, the better, because more people can reform much more things. How? Generally it is easier to criticize others than to criticize themselves. That is human nature. Normally independent people don't blame others, instead they are more critical at themselves than dependent people. Are the have in Korea more independent then those in the developed countries? What makes the have dependent ? The nature of the have was almost the same throughout the world in the past. They enjoyed themselves, despising the poor. But there was a dramatic change, the French Revolution. There had been similar attempts before it. But nothing could be so successful as the French Revolution. Everything changed, because it gave the French a NEW VIEWPOINT. They retranslated their history, they got new philosophy, they could create new version of art, and so on. What the Revolution had done was that it made the HAVE in France change their attitude towards the have-not. Many European countries followed after France. But France was the center of the world, because they changed earlier. It is well known that French are still very proud of their revolution. We may say that even Marxism was based on it. That was the revolution from the bottom. The have-not showed their power. What about Japan, the mysterious country ? The suicide of samurai is very famous. We may say samurai=suicide. Some Japanese people in high positions commit suicide until now. Why? Do you think that the have in Japan are stupid? Have you ever thought of the side effects of the suicide of them? Normally they kill themselves, saying " I commit suicide because of my responsibility." How can't the have-not in Japan believe their government ? How can the public servants be dishonest? How can the leaders of Japan make policy without considering everything? If you think a little bit deeper, you can easily find the side-effects of suicide. Nobody blames on it. In conclusion, the have commit suicide for the have-not. Of course some people say that they do it for the big organization, called Japan. Well, right, but the have-not in the organization may feel much happier than their colleagues in the other place. The problem is that they could be very dangerous to other countries, because they are too well united and the have-not follow whatever decisions their leader may make. Is there any Korean leaders who admitted their wrong-doings? You may say "Yes". If so, was it so influential as in Japan? Suicide in Korea also has been hot-issue like Japan. But there is a big difference between them. Normally Koreans commit suicide when they got extremely angry at something like our policy, politicians, soldiers, saying " I am dying because of YOU, I hope there will come better era after my death ". But the most miserable thing is that the HAVE-NOT killed themselves unlike Japan. I feel strongly guilty for it, because I am one of the learned. Because of the suicide, the poor will get angry much more for the government. They don't believe the have. Let's talk of the have in Korea. We can expect demonstrations by students regreting the death of the poor. Anything else by the have? With the help of the sacrifice of students, now we can enjoy this much of democracy. But is that enough, considering the poor ? Recently their demonstrations are not so effective. Koreans began to get bored of that It is time to approach with ANOTHER VIEWPOINT as French did in 18c. We have not experienced successful revolutions like the French Revolution. We don't have the organization Japan has. We still keep the culture of Yang-Ban. How did they treat their servants? They could kill and sell them. Do you think that the power feel guilty for the death of the poor? Do you remember Park Hong, the learned, when a labour worker killed himself? The have never feel guilty. There is an organization, the hidden devil, where all kids' users are concerned. Because of that, we can do something to remove or change the devil for the poor. That is the ALUMNI ASSOCIATION. That is the river between the have and have-not that we can not cross. Let's remove the river or build a bridge. Would you please think what it has done to Korea since Cho-Sun dynasty. I have got millions and millions of evidence to prove that it has been the devil. I can connect all corruption to it. You may even retranslate Korean history and may know why our greater leaders have been killed, if you approach with new viewpoint. If you have meeting of an alumni group such as department, school or university, you shout " We are the best, Let's unite!" For what? That's for the members, not for the have-not. You may say " But we can share our friendship help each other when we are in trouble. " That is absolutely true. But don't forget the have-not! If you enjoy the association, you, the learned, can not be independent and you can not be strong. As a result, Korea cannot be independent and Korea can not be strong. The have-not would suffer before you. The more independent and creative the have in Korea, the less the poor suffer. The serious regionalism in Korea deepens through the alumni association as well. Should I explain in detail? To make matters simple, assume that we don't have any alumni association at all throughout the country. The leaders would be more independent, and fair. They will not discriminate people, because of provinces. As a first step, please insert one line in your alumni association regulation, ' OUR FRIENDSHIP SHOULD NOT HURT OTHERS ' I will write again. |
