| [ EnglishOnly ] in KIDS 글 쓴 이(By): simplew (blue) 날 짜 (Date): 1995년02월15일(수) 13시39분08초 KST 제 목(Title): re guest(1004) to LCS #### after reading a letter from gest ( 1004 ) Date 2.15 To LSC and ... #### to all of nice girls and boys in this board... most of you i presume are students in this foreign country or some of you are already working afte graduation here... whatever you have been through this tough life, none of you has exactly same personal characters. and now you are trying to express youself by means of words, along with those your personalities. sometimes you want to say something funny. or you want to hear it. sometimes you want to hear something gentle or i say nice, because you feel to do so. or you feel lonely.... it doesnt matter how you use your words. how you express yourself. nobody can blame it.... BUT whoever you are, whatever youve been throgh, no matter how many different personalities got involved in this small ( or humongous ) area, there is one thing that you should keep in mind. ( or maybe you better know ) THINK TWICE ABOUT HOW TO EXPRESS ' DISAGREEMENT ' you know why. in the guest's letter ... 0) for this kind of letter. its not too gentle to name the writer. one of the best and worst reason to use name ' guest' 1) .. one of great Koreans .. // even before starting express his disagreement, this word ' great' shows his unbalanced ability to choose a word for this letter 2) disagreement on the JOB ? if its not a kind of killing or something like that, we need any kind of job... be more specific if really want to argue about job. 3) lazyness or delligentness ? when the rush-hour starts in LA or other big cities...its very earlier than i thought... generally koreans are delligent? ( i think .... still think ..... ) 4) forth paragraph is full of those better not to be mentioned in this kind of letter. too personal thing. what is the specific relation between the fact he is receiving money from his/her school and this letter?? 5) .. gotta obey your boss, Koreans who say broken English... .. you guys obey money .. here gradually this person loose his mind. no further explain..... 6) ha ha ha ha ha, he must be from the Yonsei university....( generally snu is believed the best univ. in korea ( personally i dont like this ) ... but look at the order of the words. and think the relation yonsei and korea univ. these two words are almost one word in korea. true ? but this person put y in front of the k univ. so ) i didnt want to mention this to make fun of all the univ.s. the fact is NO reason to bring those names DIRECTLY as he said ... i have to stop here. more writing only shows my poor english... even after one and half years ( almost 2 yrs) , still problem in writing but i will try continously... take my words as an qute ( spelling, please ) advice i am saying there must be a better way to tell this story. talking in computer needs more care. thats my conclusion. i know everybody in the town will laugh at my grammar, too .. my address? go to in BBS my name ? write it down my mail box. reason? i will explain... look ahead, think twice make a clean shot siya........................ |
