It meets federal, state and school insurance requirements, and provide excellent coverage at a low group discounted premium price ($377/year). It is underwritten by AIG, one of the best insurance company in the US with an A&M Best A++, the highest financial rating. Who can enroll? International students who 1) have valid F-1 visa, and, 2) are in a bachelor, master or Ph.D. program, and, 3) are currently registered with no less than 6 credits hours; or International Visiting Scholars with J-1 visa, are eligible and qualified to enroll. Spouse and unmarried children under 19 years old may also enroll with the student/scholar. How much does it cost? $377 per year for students and scholars under 40 years old, $707 for students and scholars age 40 and older; $1757 for spouse; $617 for each child. In the event of Medical Emergency, a Network Provider is not required. Go to the nearest hospital to seek treatment. When visiting a doctor or a hospital, a) Give the Claim Form and a copy of your ID card to the doctor or hospital.
