If they are disabled, some buttons wouldn't work. I bet not all the hyperlinks are not working. Then most probably javascript is the culprit. If the problem persists when the settings are correct, try to update java Virtual Machine at windowsupdate site at microsoft. Well, I am not sure if you can do these while your java doesn't work..
