That's a news to me! Ever heard of a cute little theorem that is called *the Prime Number Theorem* by number theorists? The theorem deals with none other than the asymptotic distribution of prime numbers; it states that for a large enough number n, the number of primes less than n approaches n/log n. It is one of the most important theorems in number theory, as far as I know. (Well, but I'm not a number theorist, not even a math major, so I'll be glad to be corrected if I'm wrong.) Your understanding of math and probability seems rather shaky. Why don't you dig into some good introductory textbooks on number theory? |
