| [ canaDA ] in KIDS 글 쓴 이(By): TACK () 날 짜 (Date): 2000년 4월 12일 수요일 오후 07시 03분 02초 제 목(Title): Immigration Law proposal it's merely proposal. it came out after months of protest by the BC gov't to get something in place, w/ regards to the illegal landing of ships on the BC's coast. basically, the proposed law puts stronger legal pressure towards illegal refugees making false claims, illegal immigrations, etc. also, simplifies a lot of immigration process. and i don't know what the hype is about w/ the new clause in regards to inviting relatives. it's a one time shot. you can only invite relative, once. _once_ only. if that _once_ is denied by the immiration authority by any reason, you used up your one and only chance. and besides, it's a mere proposal. it'll be discusses in the commons... and the proposal to be the law, i'd say about 2 yrs. :) |
