(Victoria is the provincial capital of BritColumbia) The city isn't big, but it's very comfortable to live in. In the winter, it rains a lot. Korean community in the city isn't big, however, Vancouver isn't that far away. 30 min o the ferry and about 1.5 hr on the ferry to Vancouver. If you're thinking about night life and such, it is no where near the level of Seoul. A lot of people from Seoul find it quite boring after a while. Living cost would be around medium. About $500/month should be ok. Saskatoon? *gag* It's rather smaller major city in Canada. Very cold in winter and quite windy. Korean population is very small in this city. And be prepare for a very cold and windy long winter. The nearest major city is about 3. hr away. Regina is aobut the same. The weather is usually quite dry. |
