One of the reporter following the Huckabee campaign said that he wasn't popular among the traditional Evangelical Christian leaders, but he had a good following among younger generations. Also, he noted that apparently the Evangelical Christian leadership is going through generational changes. What interested me furthur was the fact that all the current leaders of the feminist, the black rights and the Evangelical Christian movements all came about around the same time (50's through 70's) and those people are at the age where they are about to "retire".
