It is notable that many of Bach's works equally well-suited to most instruments. And Segovia's Cello Suite transcriptions are praised; I also recommend (Bach's) Chaconne with a guitar that is originally for violin. Toscanini put guitar over violin at least in this case [of #1004, Partita]. Enjoy the masterpiece. Playing it by yourself may be a life-long experience, if you can. |
