This recording will be a memorable collection for those who know Yanni as a pioneer in the New Age Music. This concert was performed and recorded in his native home, Greece. It's available in three different media: cassette, CD, vdeo tape. I saw the performance on KCET TV couple of times. The concert was quite inspirational and generated lots of excitement. Illumination of the stage itself was a work of art. It was a kind of beautiful movie as one commentator described. While I was enjoying, A thought occurred to me---some of Korean traditional instruments also have very good possibility of success in the New Age Music. |
