First of all, I am asking myself if I am the right and eligible person to reply about the application & admission at Dept. of EECS, thinking about several more qualified fellow Korean students together with me. .. The admission at EECS is known to be pretty hard. What I was told about that is according to the statistics for this year, there was one acceptance out of 57 who applied from Korea. EECS does not require GRE. TOEFL, transcripts, and the like are counted as usual. .. In general, nobody could definitely say some number is enough or good and another is not. The admission is decided based upon many factors which may get different from year to year, from professor to professor, and by the research and funding situation. .. The only thing I might say for sure is that MIT is a school worth your try. |
