I didn't see it from the beginning, but, um.. Mulder and Scully were talking about a ship. According to them, that was a ghost ship from the Bermuda Triangle. Mulder was physically in an unconsciousness, but in fact -in the dream? - he was in the ship with people (maybe ghosts) in 1940's. There also was a scientist and if his identity is revealed to the Nazis in the ship, the Allies might lose the War. The guy who challenged Mulder in Nazi costume was the smoking man and he started shooting people one by one at Mulder's incompliance to identify the scientist. A woman showed out and told the guy to stop. She had the same look as Scully and later turned out to be an OSS. Then there suddenly occurred a revolt by the crew. In the mean time, Mulder took Scully out and he asked her to make the ship go her way back and he threw himself out of the ship.. Now he woke up and saw Scully. He explained what happened in the dream, and said, "You saved the world." She and others seemed to think of it just as outlandish as dreams are.
