Assume that x, y \in L(A). then we will show tx + (1-t)y \in L(A) and then use your statment. when i actully gave a seminar, i sad the samething: the linear mapping of convex set is again a convex set in relation to fixed point theorem. then a professor from another area asked me why this is true and i had to actually prove it on the blackboard. my guess is that the reviewer has seen this triviality for the first time but he could not prove it himself. :) always keep remember: there are tons of moronic reviewers somewhere except iLUSiON. hehe... iLUSiON whitepolarcow@hotmail.com |
