But don't be disappointed. Hanterm can be compiled without xmkmf. (if you can speak in C, of course).. xmkmf simply directs which library (in X) is where and makes a Makefile from Imakefile.. Although I don't know which version of hanterm you are trying, I am sure that there is a Makefile as well as an Imakefile.. So you can try to compile with Makefile and solve each smaller problems which you will meet. To do that, first, you should edit Makefile so that you can change some machine dependent parameters. When I was in Australia, I installed hanterm 3.0.1 on sparc-10 solely for me. (later, some other Korean students around me used it, though).. I did it without any superuser privilege. I am sure you will get what you want soon. BTW what is the target machine that you want to install hanterm 3.0 ?
