He seemed to say that "Since Korean women look so beautiful and cute to a foreigner like him, he could not understand why they mask their so beautiful faces with the enormously heavy make-up." And the talk about Miss Universe seemed to be used JUST as a introduction. 아고.. 엉터리 영어로 말하려니 어렵네요. 우리말로 다시 해야겠습니다.. 제가 보기엔 thinker님의 글이 "외모를 강조한 글"인 것은 아니지 싶습니다. 그냥 외국인인 자신이 보기에 한국 여성들은 대부분 무척 예쁘게 보이는데 그 예쁜 얼굴을 그다지도 두터운 화장으로 가리는 이유를 이해하기 힘든다는 정도의 얘기인 것 같습니다. 미인대회 이야긴 그 두꺼운 덧칠에 대한 이야기를 끌어오기 위한 장치로써 서두에 가져온 것에 불과한 것 같구요. 내가 죽으면 술통 밑에 묻어 줘. 운이 좋으면 밑둥이 샐지도 몰라. |
