As reading the previous writing, I only can think of your perspective as a micro-point of view of a person's life whether the one is minority or majority. However, my writing was based on rather macro perspective. If I was mainly focused on single person's desire, your answer was probably correct. But, the point of my writing was not a personal desire but a will to grow the society as a single entity. I tried to emphasize the cultural unity of Korean-American society. Although my writing skill was poor enough to lead all kinds of misunderstanding, I wish somebody can redirect our society to the better and desireable direction. As I mentioned earlier, I can't insure my status unless the status of the society that I belong has been insured. The reason is that "You can ignore politics at your own risk!". ------------------------------------------------------------------ * although I have suggest the opposite idea, I am glad that at least someone has responded.
