I am worried about the US's general policy which seems to me to be based on forces, be it economic or military. Although it might have proved effective so far, it could hurt other countries than the US. To me, it seems obvious that North Korea, not to mention South Korea would gain nothing but ruins, and that the US and other countris such as Japan would lose nothing, should the second Korean War occurs. Some people cautiously predicts that the US and Japan might gain a lot of economic and political benefits from another war in the peninsula, although others might argue against the view. If you think Kim is crazy, it would be a better idea not to force him burst into rage, since a crazy guy would dare anything although he might keep calm when untouched. I hope the US is able to lead a peaceful solution, avoiding the ever-Rambo policy. |
