| From : paulan (안 광수) Date : Mon Nov 2 01:50:13 1992 Subject: just an opinion... hi, there. hmm... i feel sort of uneasy bcause of what i'm about to say. well, i've heard quite a lot of people complaining about the slow transmission speed of kids when they log in from oversees. i also log in from oversees, and i am aware of the problem. however, i believe it is mostly due to the networking of internet, not due to the kids. furthermore, i do not complain about it, beause, to me, the existence of kids weighs far greater than minor inconvinience of slow transmission speed. i believe a lot of people are putting in their energy and resources to keep the kids up and running. thus, it is rather being rude, i believe, for people to urge the others to use irc while being right here in kids. i hope you get the idea as to what i am trying to say. hmm. how about sending some e-mail to sysop, saying how much we appreciate the very existence of kids, rather than complaining? hope you enjoy your stay here at kids...:) paulan@ocf.berkeley.edu |
