I remember one posting that said the standard that judges so called 'more educated' and the standard for others should be different. I don't think that the writer meant that more educated are superior to the other by any means. He meant that the more educated people cannot blame the rest of people who chose a dictator as the president of our country, who become conservative and reactionary. Because it was 'the educated' people's duty to persuade them not to choose the dictator, because it was 'the educated' people's duty to persuaded them not to be reactionary, those 'educated' cannot blame the rest of people's ignorance. The educated should have been successful in explaining why choosing a dictator as a president or being reactionary is against the benefit of the rest of people. I don't think that the rest of people are immune to being blamed. Everybody is responsible to his life to a good degree. But I think people who consider themselves as smart elites should consider what the writer wanted to say before making fun of the ignorance of others. |
