Germany's Supreme Federal Court has made the ruling after the widow had demanded ￡10,500 from an insurance policy her husband arranged before he was found naked and hanging from a door handle. The court, which upheld the insurance company's argument that it was not liable for self-inflicted injuries, heard the man was trying to limit his supply of oxygen in order to heighten a sexual experience. A court statement read: "The husband of the plaintiff tied his wife's scarf around his neck and pushed it onto a door handle." |
