For every trial, there are always at least 3 sides.. Those who believe a defendant is guilty, Those who believe a defendant is not guilty, And those who do not care. I guess because of the outcome of O.J. Simpson vs. State of California case, many people think that there is no real justice. Well, didn't you know that before?? We all know that our (U.S. that is..well, Korean may also be) judicial system has flaws.. IF a murderer has gotten away with his crime, I'm sure O.J. is not the first person.. just as innocent persons were punished or executed for crimes they did not commit. Well, then, what makes the difference?? Expensive lawyers??? Thoughtful and considerate juries??? Indiscriminating law officers or even judge??? I think there is never a fair trial when a man is judging another man. The same goes for the audience - who watch or hear things from a distance and making calls: "I know he is Guilty!", "I know he didn't do it!" To me, it all sounds like the same voice, making it a belief based upon their own intuition and knowledge of life. I am sorry to Those Who Care to believe.. but no matter how strong you express your opinion on this board, it's still insufficient to convert a non-believer into a believer. I think that the fault lies in the foundation - the system. This, however, is the sad part: What alternatives do we have? Well, it almost seems that the third group (those who do not care) is promoted.. Well, this is my ultimatum: let's get this case behind us now! ***< GLOCK 23 >*** |
