If I were you, I choose complement rather than conflict. Because conflict means each side opposes to each other and they have opposit oppinion. but complement means each side is simpy different and it can literally complement to complete. And also it is used as an mathematical terminology, "complement set". My oppinion about the relation between belief and logic is "complementary".
