As previously announced, Carnegie Mellon students, faculty and staff will be able to have their identification cards validated at the end of this month for access to the Port Authority Transit system beginning July 1. Any eligible individual wishing to use the Port Authority Transit system will need to personally bring his or her identification card to the University Center for validation. Validation will take place from 10:00am - 4:00pm weekdays from June 21st through July 2nd in the Wean Commons, outside of the Connan Room on the UC first floor. Eligible students will include those in degree programs who were enrolled in the spring and are eligible to enroll for this fall. Eligible faculty and staff will include regular full and part-time staff who are benefits eligible. A plan for subsequent distribution from late August through early September will be announced in late July. |
