GRE or GRA si required for most student who did not gradute from a school in North Americea. North America to measure or determine standard. FOr Masters degree, if you did not gradute good school with very good record it is hard to get into very best school in America. I mean top 10. Since there are so many school s in America, it varies. If you dont' have honours degree in pure science in most cases you will be accepted as qualifying student for one or two semesters if you applied to good school. Then the school will accept you in its grad program. I am not certain other fields of study but in math and physics this is true. Your CGPA must be at least 3.7/4.0 to qualify for acceptable reputation of grad school. You can surely apply with less CGPA but won't accepted. The obove statement is pure speculation of mine. Don't bother too much. To receive schalarship, this is different story. You have to be very very good. |
