It will give you much help. And if you come here without any information, you will have few chance to choose apartments, and so most of them go to Sherman Hall(dormitory). But this dormitory doesn't provide cooking utilities. Its rent is, I guess, about 300 dollars. How about chooseing some private apartments(efficiens, one bed room...), which cost almost same as Sherman Hall. I don't mean our dormitory is bad, I mean you'd better consider many choices to selecting apartment. One of most important thing is thay Sherman Hall supports Internet for free. In our town, some private apartments also provides it. for example, Illini Manor (with additional payment $10 per month), or JSM apartments(maybe one bed room) or something. I guess most efficiens cost about $250~$350 and they almost are furnished . most one bed room cost about 350~450, and two bed room about $450~$600 or so. But as I said, this may be not true. In addition, our summer courses will be start about June 15 (in case last year) So I suggest you come early and settle and take some courses. Our university is located top-rank level in most areas, so you will not be disappointed with our univ excpet bad weather coditions sometimes :( |
