CS (CAM was almost identical to this) mean GRE number Applied 1331.62 395 Admitted 1432.69 119 selectivity = 30% Enrolled 1433.72 43 yield = 36% Other departments mean GRE Astronomy 1303.33 Biochemistry 1305.00 Chemical Engineering 1310.77 ECE 1323.21 Material Science & Eng. 1379.09 Manufacturing Systems Eng./Bus. 1365.00 Music Theory 1380.00 Some more interesting points (with help from Gordon Novak): - Only Philosophy and Music Theory have better average GRE Verbal scores than CS students, who are slightly ahead of English. - The Music Theory average GRE Quant is 703.33. (These folks should double-major.) - The Admitted average for Neuroscience is 1510, but that was one student, who did not enroll. |
