Columbia is one of the safest University in United States. Even 4~5:00 AM, no afraids on the streets. Many people compares Columbia with Yale and say 'You have to be very careful in Yale. Yale is not as safe as Columbia.' 2. It's expensive to go Columbia. -> The only difference in living expence is the apartment rent. If you don't mind the small room in Manhattan, it's $200 difference. The benefits of Manhattan is more than $200, of course. 3. Columbia doesn't have enough fund. -> wrong. When I applied, Yale, Cornell, Stanford and Columbia all said 'We have enough funds'. But when I asked the details, only Columbia said ' We support 100% of graduate students' What does that mean ?????? The grant offers shows that Columbia is the richest ! 4. Life in MAnhattan is hard, and not good to study. -> wrong. Anybody can spend 17hours/day for studying. Lots of opportunities gives lots of motivation to study. Exciting relax gives concentration. I, myself, do study more in Manhattan than the countryside school. 5. Columbia is going down -> wrong. The increased fund and reseach products shows Columbia is going up.
