The position will be available in January-February 1996. Qualified applicants must have already completed a PhD in either Ceramics, Materials Science, or another related field. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is required: I. processing of continuous fiber reinforced ceramic matrix composites (CFCC's), II. pre-ceramic polymer processing, III. mechanical testing of CFCC's, and IV. CFCC microstructural characterization.
