(네트가 느려요) 이곳에서는 이론을 하는 사람이 한명 있습니다. 얼마전 온 Boris Zel'ovich phase conjugation 하면 아는 분은 아시나요? 전 잘 몰라요.. 단지 이론의 대가 라는거 정도 밖에.. 글고 여기 분위기는 가족적입니다. .. 그래요.. 가족 비슷.. 그리고 전 원 적외선 레이저를 연구 합니다. 파장이 길어요 0.1mm정도 그래서 THz라고 하기도 합니다. 아래의 글은 CREOL안내 책자에 나온 겁니다. ============================= Welcome to CREOL! The Center for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers (CREOL) is part of the Universiity of Central Florida, a comprehensive university with a current enrollment of over 20,000 students, and is the State University System's center of excellence for research and education in optics and laser sciences and engineering. CREOL currently is housed in the Central Florida Research Park adjacent to the UCF main campus in Orlando, Florida. The Florida Legislature formally established CREOL in the Spring of 1985, to bring together diverse disciplines into a cohesive program in optics and lasers. Research activities at the Center are integrated with instructional programs to ensure involvement of both students and faculty. Substantial funds have been appropriated to support these activities, and to provide for additional faculty lines in optics, lasers and support positions, which are being filled by top scholars from around the world. Optical Sciences and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Physics are the major disciplines of CREOL. The academic program involves students from various science and engineering departments and reflects the diverse interests of the multi-national student/faculty. Degrees of MS and PhD in Optical Sciences and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), and Physics are offered at UCF. The program includes 23 specialized courses in electro-optics and lasers, as well as basic electrical engineering and physics courses.
