This is the total volume. i was interested in regional volume change and managed to compute that in certain region, local volume change occurs at the rate of 0.1 mm^3 per each 1mm^3 unit cube. (dilataion rate of 10%). In order to have about 5ml/year volume expansion, I must have about 50,000 unit cubes whose expnsion rate is 10%.
