I'm not a theorist, so my understanding of weak- or strong- is weak: kinetic > coupling -> treat coupling as a perturbation, then with some mathematical tools, we can get answers as in QED. strong: kinetic < coupling -> no good theory except several lucky cases. Another question: A string is not so symetric as a point. Is it symmetric in 3-D, i.e. our world? I think it should be. But then, everything must be symmetric in every aspect in the extreme condition such as infinite temperature, is just an illusion? |
