Of course, this is based on an assumption that you are hired 100%. (some cases, post-docs are hited 75%, in this case they are considered part-time employee and do not get full benefits) If you are hired as 100% time post-doc, you will be offered a full health insurance (same as the ones that professors get), life insurance, and some other benefits for free.
