There are a few tools to address that problem: Archie(made at McGuil U. in Canada), Gopher(developed at U.of Minesota),WAIS(Thinking Machine Co.), and WWW(CERN:European Center for High E. Physics) As Gopher grows and has become widely used all over the world, even searching thru Gopher space gets hard, whence developed at Univ. of Nevada was Veronica(Gopher search tool). It's only accessible via Gopher and I guess a new Gopher server at nic.nm.kr has a menu for Veronica. Try any Gopher server in the US if not.
