You said that you can read hangul, but cannot write hangul..right? In that case, you can write hangul by setting stty's. Like as, Add these lines in your .cshrc file if you use csh. stty pass8 stty -istrip Or, just typing them at unix command line... % stty pass8 % stty -istrip I think if you can read hangul with your hangul windows and X-win, it is not the problem of fonts or others.
