NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Investors showed little
confidence in the stock market Friday, ending the
week with selling on Wall Street, as fears of rising
inflation and higher interest rates continued to cast a
                  shadow over financial markets.
The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 136.14
points, or 1.3 percent, to 10,655.15 after a morning of
shaky trading. The blue chip index lost 2.3 percent
this week, cutting its gain for the year to 16.05
percent. The Dow lost some 2.9 percent in July.

Despite the heavy declines, however, market breadth
finished the day positive, with advances taking the
lead from declines by 1,494 to 1,448 on the New
York Stock Exchange, while volume reached 727
                  million shares.
Strong opening gains on the Nasdaq composite
eroded, leaving the technology-heavy index down
                  1.52 points to 2,638.49. The S&P 500 lost 12.31 to
1,328.49. The Nasdaq shed 2.0 percent this week,
adding to a loss of 1.8 percent for the month and
leaving its gain for the year at 20.3 percent. The S&P
500 index lost 2.1 percent on the week, 3.2 percent
for the month, and is now up 8.09 percent for the
                  year.
The bond market also headed south, dragged
lower by an array of unflattering economic reports
and lingering gloom following the previous day's
unexpectedly robust employment costs index (ECI).
On Friday, the government said new home sales
surged 3.1 percent in June while average personal
income climbed 0.7 percent, both feeding the
already-battered bond market's fear that economic
expansion and rising wages will prompt an interest
rate hike in the near future. The benchmark 30-year
Treasury bond slid 14/32 of a point in price, while the
yield edged up 6.10 percent from Thursday's close of
                  6.07 percent.
The dollar gained back lost ground against the
euro as traders locked in profits from the European
currency's recent ascent, but continued its retreat
                  against the yen.

실전감각인지..-_-;;

그럼..다음 한 주도 선전하세요
