I understand that flat torque curve is more important than mearly large torque. However, 'd like to say that Grandeur is supposed to be a luxury car, which mean the owners do not plan to rev the engine to red line. No matter how good 4 cylinder engine may be, there's a certain limit with 4cylinders. If high-revving 4-cylinder engine is that good, and we don't need V6 or V8, try the same argument to Lexus or BMW engineers. They will probably laugh at you. If 4 cylinders are really good, why don't we see single luxury car with turbo charged 4 cyliner engine? Becasue it's noise and not acceptable to luxury car buyers. I myself prefer small 4 banger than big 6 cylinder engines. 4 cyliders are more economical, still producing more than enough power for me. but, when I can afford luxury cars, I want something more than 4 cylinders. I want power, but that power should come smoothly. Sure, Grandeur with 4 cylinder may be good enough in Korea where you don't see many chances to enjoy the cars performance. But, somewhere else in the world, there are plenty of room to see the real beauty of a car. By the way, please don't tell others to do something you don't want to do. I myself love Korean cars. But they need tough critics to become better, to be able to compete with ohter giants like Toyota and BMW. If you are a real patriot, why don't you persuade your mother sell the JAPANESE car, and buy a Sonata. Once you do that, I will listen to every word you say. I don't have time to listen to someone whose behavior is different from his word. Acura NSX...simply the BEST... |
