Well, when i was in korea back in winter of 1993, i saw Honda Accord (1986 model, though), Nissan 240 SX, Mazda RX7(previous model, not the sexy looking 1992 model), and Honda Beat. Honda Beat is a micro car,(does anyone know this car?) and it's even smaller than Ford Festiva (Kia Pride). Also, a friend of mine claimed to spot Mitsubishi 3000GT in seoul. I agree with someone above that Grandeur is a good looking car, but compared to Lexus...it's unthinkable. It's not even close to Lexus. I do not know how powerful the 2.0 liter engine in Grandeur. But, with that kind of size, it need at least 6 cylinder engine. I think HCD I,II series would be sort of counterparts of Mitsu Eclipse, but, given the new Eclipse's astonishing power, HCD will have hard time in catching up. But, then, are we going to ever see HCD rolling out of production line? Regarding my favorite NSX, i don't think anyone imports that car. Even if one does, the road situation in korea will destroy the car. Acura NSX...simply the BEST... |
