| [ car ] in KIDS 글 쓴 이(By): TACK (T@CKt@ck) 날 짜 (Date): 2005년 9월 1일 목요일 오전 02시 04분 04초 제 목(Title): Re: [Q] 시동걸때 나는 이상한 소리.. if you spray wd-40 on rubber/plastics, it makes 'em brittle and brake 'em. i'd not recommend you spray wd-40 on the belt. it'll speed up the wear on the belt. there are something called belt-quite or something, that you can spray on the best to limit/reduce the slipping of belt: something i'd not use, but some use 'em. not sure what you mean by chirping sound, but it's probably one of next 4 things: 1. like others have mentioned, belt being worn out. 2. starter motor not disengaging properly 3. bearing is worn out on either: fan motor, water pump, power steering, A/C, etc. 4. highly unlikely, but check your power steering fluid level. it may be low. |
