After you complete your degree, you are free to use "practical training" to get a job in the U.S. With this "practical traning", you can have a job in the U.S. However, it is extremely importrant (as long as you are concerned about H1-visa) to have good negotiation with the company where you are hoping to work. What I am saying is that some companies (from small clothes import/export companies to IBM, Intel, NASA, AT&T, etc.) can offer her employees H1-visa. I have been just trying to let you know one of possible ways to change F1-visa to H1-visa. As far as I know, there are some more ways aiming at H1-visa. So, please ask many other experts regarding this issue. BTW, You can directly get the U.S. citizenship if you marry a citizenship holder... :-) My apology, if you are already married or have prospective spouse..... :-) The final choice is totally up to you. Good luck to you, Demisoda |
