Auto Rental Insurance (ARI) 1. What is this insurance? Visa Gold Auto Rental Insurance provides - at no additional cost - coverage on a 24-hour basis for damage or theft up to the full value of most rental cars when certain terms and conditions are met. 2. Who is covered? You are covered only if you are a cardholder whose name is embossed in a valid U.S. issued Visa Gold card and a citizen of the United States or a resident of the United States or CAnada. Only you and those permitted by the auto rental contract as additional drivers are covered. 3. What is covered? Visa Gold ARI reimburses you for the repair or replacement of a rental car damaged or stolen while it is your responsibility. Only rental periods which neither exceed nor are intended to exceed 15 consecutive days within the U.S. or 31 consecutive days outside U.S. are covered. *4. How do I activate this cover? For coverage to be in effect, you must: * initiate and complete the entire rental transaction with your Visa Gold card, and * Decline the auto rental company's collision damage waiver (CDW/LDW) waiver option, or similar provision, if offered by the auto rental company. *5. What if the auto rental company insists that I purchase their car insurance? Call the Visa Assistance Center 1-800-VISA-911 for help. 요점만 말하면 비자골드 자동차 렌트 보험은 damage/theft 를 카버합니다. 그러므로 책임보험 (liability)는 카버가 안됩니다. 렌트기간은 15일 연속을 넘기면 않되고... 아 그리고 미국에서 발행된 비자골드에 한하며 미국 아니면 카나다 시민권자나 영주권자에 한합니다. 이보험은 비자골드로 렌트비를 지불하면 자동으로 카버되는데 단 보험회사가 제시하는 보험을 사지 않을 경우에 한합니다. 그러므로 위의 사항이 해당되는 경우면 다음부터 렌트할땐 책임보험만 사시던가 아니면 자가용이 있으신 경우 그 보험회사 에 렌트시 책임보험 을 렌트 자동차에도 해당 될수있는지 알아보세요. 참고로 저의경우는 State Farm 보험 을 가지고 있는데 렌트를 할경우 자동적으로 렌트자동차 카버됩니다. 정확한 것은 agent 에게 전화하거나 편지써서 아니면 보험약관만 읽어봐도 알수있어요. |
