In case you cannot read my Korean part, please read the English part that follows right after the Korean part. 혹시 그 한글 이름 파일이나 디렉토리를.. 윈98 같은데서 unionway같은 걸로 구현한 한글로 만들지 않았나요 ? 아님 유닉스/리눅스에서 만든 ? 그런경우, 윈도 IME랑 코드가 안맞아서 안될겁니다. 그건 IME문제가 아니고 Win2000,XP에서 한글 구현한 것이 그전 njwin이나 unionway에서 한 것이랑 달라서 생기는 문제인듯 하거든요. 그런 파일을 Win2000/XP에서 볼려면.. 제 경우엔 Unix로 nfs를 한 다음.. Unix에서 zip파일을 만들어서 그걸 window로 가져와서.. 그걸 풀면.. 윈도에 맞는 코드로 풀어주더라구요. 영작을 시도하면.. (물론 한글을 읽었으면 절대 영어는 안읽어야 겠죠. 뽀록나니까. ㅋㅋ) Did you create those Korean named directories/files in Win98 or earlier with the Korean implemented with Unionway or something like that ? Or you could have created them in Unix/Linux. In those cases, the Korean code isn't compatible with that in Window's IME. It is not the problem with IME but just the way how Unionway/njwin implemented Korean isn't compatible with the way that Windows did with IME. If you would like to access them.. I will tell you what I did. I mounted a Unix file system through nfs. Moved the Korean named directory to the nfs. Pack them into a zip file on Unix. Moved the zip file to Unix. Unpack the zip file.
