But I can still read Korean so please don't bother to write in English. I have filed my tax return pretty early this year, expecting quick return. Instead, all I got was a request for missing information: it says my 1040NR lacks the reference to a tax treaty/article for $2,000 exemption. I referred to "US tax treaty with Korea, TIAS9506 (1979-2 C.B.435), which is found in pub. 901. Is there anything that I'm missing here? Thanks in advance. |
