As windy96 said, file search engines such as soribada, eDonkey etc are "officially" blocked in SNU for the reason he wrote. You can find this notice in our intranet "it4U". There are several sites to our university's policies, which are banned or filtered by admin. But as I said its "officially" banned, it means "unofficially" you can use those programs with no sweat. You have to keep this in your mind. Everything you do with your computer in SNU, admin can easily find out. But the thing is that there are thousands of computers in SNU, so its almost impossible to monitor all those computers in use. So it's up to you whether to use those programs which are banned in SNU or not. To follow the policy and to think of many problems you ought not use 'em.
