R.T.F.M : a kind of Usenet slangs, shows single, most important idea in the world of the Internet. It means that before you ask anyone else for help, you should try to solve your problem by checking with a book or manual. This slang is due ti the fact that almost new users tend to ask the same questions. It's understandable that many people feel that, before you post an article asking for help, you should at least check all the standard references. This term is also used as a verb, as in "I RTFMed, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere." In short, it meaning is 'try to find the answer yourself before you asked someone else'. 흐흐 그 게스트 흉내내 볼라구 했더만 정말 힘드네......:) 하하 그나저나, 역시 컴공과 분답게 설명을 해주셨군요.... 물론 RTFM은 말씀하신대로 Usenet에서 많이 쓰이는 일종의 jargon이지요... 그래서, Usenet의 FAQ를 모아놓은 archive host의 이름이 rtfm.mit.edu이기두 하구요. 하지만...전 그 약어의 의미를 벌써 알아낸 걸요... 글을 올리고 제가 갖고 있는 그 게스트 글의 백업을 유심히 다시한번 읽어본 결과 알 수 있었지요.... :) 아주 재미 있는 게스트더군요... 그 약어의 의미는 Revolution From the Middle class였읍니다... 전혀 컴퓨터적인 약어가 아니더군요...`.. :) 음 잘은 모르겠으나, 요즘 경실련등의 움직임과 관계가 있다고 할까요... 가진 사람들이나 지식인들이 자신의 기득권에만 안주하지 말고 소외된 사람들을 위해 일을 해야 한다...그런 의미인 거 같습니다... :) 제 나름대로 그렇다고 생각하고 여기에 이 동문보드에 그 글을 올리게 되었어요.... 어때요..건강한 사고 방식인 거 같은데요...제가 보기엔...:) 아뭏든 제글에 보여주신 관심에 감사드리며.... 친절하게 메아리도 보내주셔서 더 감사드립니다......:) 푸른 마음... :) |
