Obviously, he doesn't has a definite proof. For these kind of problems, statistics means damn a lot. And, it is obvious that, for whatever reason, there are way too many C-sections (spell?) in Korea, implying that doctors are lying to patients about the matter. Somebody may use Gatsbi's words as a proof? There is already a proof. What difference does the truthfulness of this specific case make? Why are doctors lying to patients? For money? I firmly believe, YES. Not to work at night or during holidays? I firmly believe, YES. How do I know? I would do the same if I were a doctor and could get away with it. We know from the statistics that they are doing wrong things. We also know that they've been getting away with it from another statistics that (almost) nobody's been punished. We have to do something. Can I trust the doctors? |
