Does beating a human in Go have any significance in mathematical sense? Also, when you mentioned the search space of 25! or whatever, you sure were talking about completely solving Go. (The search space is not that large, it's more like 3^25 even when you use a naive algorithm.) ========== Then would you care to explain why IBM spent tons of money trying to beat the world's most powerful chess player? By beating all humen in chess, essentially chess problem is solved. now everyone knows chess is not a holy grail anymore. even a comercial chess progam is far better than your little mind. If you wanted to me to shut up, you have to stich your mouth first. in kids, everyone is allowed to write whatever they want. very funny thing about people who knows a little bit of jargon is that they tried to hid behind them and keeping barking like "shut up ... shut up....
