"Completely solving" usually means finding an always-winning strategy of a game or showing that no such strategy exists. Do we agree about the subject? Since you are talking about complete solution in once place and beating a human in some other place, I get the feeling that you think the two are the same. If you say "Go is easier than human genome", anyone who has any background in mathematics will think about completely solving Go, not beating a human. Does beating a human in Go have any significance in mathematical sense? Also, when you mentioned the search space of 25! or whatever, you sure were talking about completely solving Go. (The search space is not that large, it's more like 3^25 even when you use a naive algorithm.) What you have written above doesn't contain anything that deserves my time to write anything about. So, please shut up. You don't know dick about anything in this thread. (And find the decency you were looking for in the word PLEASE.) By the way, most people think Go is harder than chess. Although, as usual in this field called complexity theory, they don't have a definite answer. |
